Patient Participation Group

The Aims of the Patient Participation Group

We have a Practice Patient Participation Group (PPG) who help us improve our service to you and they feedback to us how you perceive our surgery and staff.

The Birchwood Medical Centre PPG meets virtually at present due to coronavirus restrictions so that they can continue to have a voice to the practice management team. We will ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys succinct so it shouldn’t take too much of your time.

The PPG aims to be made up of as broad a spectrum of patients as possible to get a truly representative voice. They need young people, workers, retirees, people with long-term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.

If you are interested in joining the Birchwood PPG then please get in contact with the practice for more information.
